For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8:38-39

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest William (Bill) Johnson who was born in Washington on January 19, 1936 and passed away on July 7, 2015. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Bill was born in Hoguum, Washington to Julius and Emmie Johnson. He was the youngest of six brothers, lived in Acme, Washington and attended High School in Bellingham until his junior year when his dad moved his logging company to Northern, California. Bill attended his senior year at South Forks High School, upon graduating he attended Humboldt State College.

Bill excelled in both sports and music, his favorite being golf in which he has won many trophies and awards. He also spent much time supporting junior golf leagues. Along with his love for golf he was a professional referee for both High School Basketball and Football Leagues.

While at Humboldt College he met the love of his life Mary Frances Johnson and they were married October 28th, 1956. They would have been married 59 years in October and she will greatly misses him and the love he forever showed her. He also leaves behind 1 son, 2 daughter, 5 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. He loved to spend time with all his family and his presence will be greatly missed.

Bill was always a happy, vivacious person. He loved people and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Bill had a beautiful voice and shared it at many events, including the baptism of 1 of his daughters and 1 of his granddaughters.

For most of his life he worked in management in which he excelled at due to his gift of “never meeting a stranger.” We will all forever miss him and cannot wait to see him when the Lord calls us all home.

This sure is a nice web site with all the photos.  One of my favorite memories of Uncle Bill was how he could sing.  I loved listening to his singing at family gatherings.
